About the Project
This project began with a fintech startup entering the competitive digital gold investment market. While the platform was fully compliant and technically secure, it struggled to gain user trust. Potential investors were hesitant — unsure about ownership without physical gold, confused by pricing and fees, and concerned about transaction safety. The challenge was to design an experience that could build confidence, reduce friction, and encourage users to take that first step.
Our role was to explore user concerns, simplify the onboarding journey, and create a trust-centered product experience that could turn skepticism into action
Result
We delivered a product experience that educated users, reduced confusion, and clearly communicated security and transparency at every step. From real-time pricing and fee breakdowns to instant ownership certificates and trust indicators, the new experience helped users feel in control and informed. As a result, registration completion doubled in the first month, the average time to first investment dropped from days to hours, and trust scores in post-onboarding surveys rose well above industry benchmarks. This foundation has not only supported rapid adoption but also opened opportunities to expand into other digital asset classes.
